"Bush's value system is centered around making money for rich people."

As I pointed out well before the election, he is very good at this. For he knows which side his bread is buttered, if it wasn't for rich and powerful friends of his dad, he likely would have been in jail several times. He definitely would have had a DD, assuming he would have been accepted into the Air National Guard in the first place.

Re: "Anyone who voluntarily lives in New Haven, CT can't be too bright."

Scumbria,

Well, I worked for IBM for 27 years, the first 6 or so in Poughkeepsie, NY. I guess this gives
you license to paste a big "L" on my forehead!

I have never lived in New Haven, but, sight unseen, I would take it over Poughkeepsie, wouldn't you?

OK

George W. does have the rich vote, I agree. What's that? 2%?? How about the other 47+%?
OK, fine, discount the Religious Right, etc. But also discount "special interests" in your party.
What we're talking about here is .... a fight for the center. Old style politics, Kennedy vs. Nixon.
You might not like it, you might not want to define it that way. But that's what it is.
