Ben: The Australian model will reverberate around the world IMO.

The practical problem the Q has had is that it has ceded control of the "front lines" to people who have different priorities, and not to put too fine a point on it, lesser drive or whatever that nebulous stuff is.

Now it is a case of do it yourself, and stand or fall.

Good.

While FUD from Nokia will be around as long as Nokia thinks it is best to fight, that may change.

Nokia is increasingly irrelevant IMO. The Asian companies will eat Nokia's lunch.

(But fashion wins, no?)

In a context of pretty boxes vs content, I suppose the pretty boxes win.

After all, most Americans think Nokia is a Japanese company, so rational choice is a weak reed, no?

Ah well, let's see.

Best.
