This "news" was already well known and is part of Sprints previously planned roll outs prior to their decision to evaluate new technologies such as OFDM. This may help HYBR pull out of the pits but I don't see it as anything new. Sprint has said that they consider the current stage of deployments as little more than extensive field tests and that they remain open to other technologies. Maybe they will stay with HYBR but if one of the OFDM suppliers delivers on the lofty promises I think they will be forced to shift.
