seeing that i had to avert my eyes! the gore, the blood, the shrieking cries!!!!

my son however was transfixed. do you think he will short stocks when he grows up after seeing such a thing?

do you think he will never go long without a put?

i'm scared now!

Heinz:

Glad you posted that chart. I am getting a bit tired of listing all the stock markets that are falling for my still-too-bullish friends.

Just as it took many of us here far too long to recognize the mania when it arrived, so too it is taking far too long for most investors to recognize that we are now being swept into the vortex of a full blown depression. This reluctance to see reality for what it is (e.g. no one uses the dreaded "D" word), is understandable, especially since many have never experienced a bear market. That said, it is also the reason why I expect that this one will push the extreme end of the graph. When much of the planet's savings go to money heaven, the recovery time will be much extended.

Best, Earlie

here's a chart of the MSCI Global Stock market Index, in USD. - proving that the bear has gone global, with a vengeance:

Very nice, there's also an option to change that to World excluding USA just to shut up those that think it's all due to USA weighting.
