Commercials are covering their Spoos and NAsdaq shorts. This usually results in some kind of a bottom put in. So you may be right.

VI is right... the March 20th figures do show the commercials buying back short positions on the SP500

Normally, it takes 2-4 weeks for those changes to manifest them in the markets.
