"By 2005, Jupiter predicts 29 million households-about 38 percent of the U.S. population-will be surfing the Internet from home via a fast connection."

Not sure what this means.
That would put the US population at 76 million households?
I just don't see 38% of the population surfing via broadband any time soon.

Part I: Ongoing Collaborative Effort Revenue Model: iNextv's Streaming Video.
Jubimer, I have been continuing to work on the revenue model. Most of the variables are guesses, some reasoned guesses, some WAGs. But the most crucial part is the model's structure itself. The variables lends themselves to change, especially since I have this on spread sheet (Excel). The basic assumptions of the model are as follows:
1) Total potential viewers = 20,000,000
2) 40% of total viewers likely to watch streaming video
3) 33 1/3% of those are likely to watch inextv's streaming video
4) Each viewer is likely to watch 3 video segments/day
5) Each viewer watches 5 days/week instead of 7 days/week
6) Each streaming video segment is 3 minutes in length
7) 90% of streams are Narrow Band, 10% are Broad Band
8) Rates are based on per thousand (000) streams
9) Rates: $35/(000) NB, and $65/(000)BB - WAG

Hence the daily revenues would be = $25,200 NB & $5,200 BB
The daily total revenues = $30,400

The weekly revenues = $126,000 NB & $26,000 BB
The total weekly revs = $152,000

The Monthly revenues = $546,000 NB & $112,666 BB
The total monthly revs = $658,666

The Quarterly revenues = $1,638,000 NB & $338,000 BB
The total Quarterly revs = $1,976,000

The Annual Revenues = $6,552,000 & $1,352,000
The total annual revs = $7,904,000
