Hi John, yes I noticed the quick up tick in SKI near the close..interesting,,I just can't understand why anyone would feel "squeezed"..Does SKI has les($) debt today than it did yesterday?..They always report their best Q in the Summer (earnings from AprilQ)..why, I don't know..Maybe it will lend some support..Conditions here are fantastic,so get out and enjoy them while they last(or are open)..Just looked outside and we got another 3-4" last night..I have given up plowing the driveway and shoveling the walkway for the season...It's 4 wheel drive and snowshoes from here on out<lol>..From what I understand, they will begin to close some amenities next weekend, Snowlake lodge,Sundance base..etc....These are all good moves on their part, and is a departure from what they've done in the past..So maybe you can take that as good news...Remember, Haystack is now closed(held snowmobile races there last weekend) so this helps support the numbers as MS..even though SKI owns both mountains..Good luck, don't get greedy and be nimble<g> with that one..;^)DD PS: I get a kick out this analyst(?) he really has a grudge against SKI, has since the IPO...but he's been right..Perhaps Wall St. should move to Maine<lol> portland.com PS: with the Canadian $ exchange, if I had the time I'd head north over the border to ski...
