Windsock,
RE:"White House Chief of Staff Andrew H. Card Jr. said yesterday that a "very dark cloud" hangs over the nation's economy, but he said President Bush's frequently pessimistic remarks had been designed to help the economy in the long run"

Everybody is an expert and there is two reporters to take it down on paper. We saw haw good the Analysts were. Now we'll laugh at the the trough feeders.

Rebublican shemublican. The y2k air is just coming out of the markets. Or should I say, someone tuned off the compressor. Most of the damage is done in the NASDAQ. The DOW may have some more gyrating to do.
It's not so much where the economy is going to end up as it is the levels to where the markets were pumped up.

Jim

Windsock,

Bush is trying to create an economic crisis to get his tax cut passed. He is trying to create an energy crisis to drill in the Arctic.

He is a real SOB.

Folks - They are having another Witch Hunt on the AMD Gestapo thread. I think one of your friends needs your vote.

Hi Windsock and Thread,

Do you remember the litigation with Cyrix or Via that was posted here awhile ago? Does that litigation extend to their new products? Regards, Amy J

"Via was a big promoter of the double data rate (DDR) alternative, and some observers, this one included, are still somewhat surprised that Rambus hasn't extended the hand of litigation to the chipset and CPU firm."
