Gottfried, Today the semi brotherhood proclaimed their solidarity with a chorus of cuts and warnings. New and old members alike including Silicon Valley Group, ASM International, PMC-Sierra, Vitesse Semiconductor, Conexant Systems and TranSwitch all sang the blues. Dataquest added a sour note of their own with their new gloomy outlook for PC sales. Chambers chimed in with his latest comment: "Now we are saying that it will last for at least -- at least -- three quarters.'' Hey, but at least Genus was able to ring the bell with a tool sale!
