Let's try more like 3000% or so before I wised up, but what's a few thousand percent amongst friends? -vbg-

I wish I had a concept of money at that point. I was fresh out of college and hadn't yet pulled a dime out of the market. I was playing it more like I had went to the casino on a Friday night with a few hundred dollars expecting to come home with nothing, but had a big run on the craps table along the way. After watching my portfolio lose over half its value in about 2 weeks, I started to realize I just lost enough money to pay off my mortgage, buy a new BMW, a pound of Kind buds, and still have more money left than I could spend in 6 months. It was at that point I started getting in touch with my inner Clown. I guess it goes both ways though, if I wasn't a Clown last spring I wouldn't have dumped $10K into out of the money AMD calls and kept rolling it month to month.

Now that the IRS is done RealManning me for last year, my account looks like a fraction from the high last year even though I've had a hell of a run over the last 8 months. I guess I should feel good about it though, helping out society and all with my huge tax bill. I guess I get to support a bunch of crack mothers this year via welfare, or maybe it's going towards $2500 hammers for military use. I'm not sure where it's going, but I'm sure my government has my best interests at heart and my money is being well spent.
