Ed,

Even at $18 per share we are still talking about a stock that has a market cap of about a $130B. That's still a high price/sales multiple in this uncertain environment in my opinion.

But hey, it's you're money. I'm kicking myself now for covering half my Crisco short a little above $19.

The key is the growth rate. How do they know it's going to do CAGR of 28%? You might check on what the consensus for calendar 01/02 growth was 6 months ago and 1 year ago. Personally, I would like to consider how accurate those forecasts were before lending much credence to long-term forecasts.

If there is any good networking company to pick then it is
Cisco. I cannot see any other networking company, JNPR PE is
well over 100 and it is a single product company who's customers are mainly carriers, NT, LU, RedBack, no one is near to Cisco ...

So when the telecom sector comes up again I bet Cisco will
also ride the wave...
