They aren't singularly to blame, but they certainly are culpable. So is "big media" which have promoted their causes to end nuclear power plant building for years.

Last year, we had a Greenpeace protest near where I live. It wasn't related to nuclear power, but nuclear weapons. They were protesting the Trident Submarines stationed at Bangor. I drove by, about 5 protestors from Greenpeace showed up, and all three T.V. network crews were there filming. The film crews outnumbered the protesters about 3 to one.

Of course, that night on the news, all the film shots were VERY close up so you couldn't see the pathetic size of the protest.

Nothing but propaganda if you ask me. They invented a news story in order to promote their agenda. They've done the same thing many times in regard to nuclear power plant construction.
