--You sure you want to leave taht post up? Then again you might as 9mm are pussy pistols. LOL! --

yeah yeah, 'pussy pellet,' 'sissy slug;' i've heard that before.

i had a .308 m1a1 and one of my friends called it too a 'sissy slug.' he said only a 30.06 would do.

my favorite was my lever action .45/70 with 7-round capacity.

when out shooting, everything else would 'crack' to lesser or greater degree, but that thing would go 'boom.' everyone who ever fired it, loved it.

as for the 9mm being underpowered. regardless of that it was fun to go out and hit cans at 75 yards (yes yards, not feet). of course it too the better part of a 15-round clip to zero in.

the 'thomas technique' is to grasp the grip of the pistol firmly with the non-shooting hand, then use the shooting hand exclusively to pull the trigger rapidly, giving a machinegun-like effect. with the machinegun effect the shooter can guide the 'stream' to the target. that was how i would hit cans at 75 yards... thomas technique.

the best handgun for that was the grendel 22 magnum with 30-round clip.

we used to make videos of our shooting outings. i still have some video of that somewhere. i used the footage for music videos.

i have this song, 'pistol packin' momma.' i hired 3 women to go out into the wilderness with sheer and satin dresses and high spiked heels. there footage was taken of them firing off various 'ordnance,' including the .22 calico (100-round cylindrical mag). two of the ladies were quite timid, but one had already had experience shooting, and she went to town with the m1 carbine, emptying that 15-rounder in no time flat.

that's a great music video by the way.
