Prolifesquad: You are full of piss and vinegar today. Before you ask me to comment on the news of the day, it might serve your purpose better to post a snippet of the actual news from a valid news source (AP, Reuters), rather than have me comment on your perception of the truth ... which is highly warped. Which Dems are jumping ship? Specifics please. I believe only two were in Hegel's camp on the votes today. According to the news stories I read this afternoon on the Internet, I didn't see any mass defections by Democrats on campaign finance reform. If you have different information, please share it. Your time would be better spent asking why D-Dubya-I lied to the American people on clean-air standards and why he "talked down" the economy to near-recession status in order to justify his big tax cut for the wealthiest of the wealthy ... a tax cut that would put tens of thousands of dollars in his hip pocket in the space of four years, while the common working man and woman would get a few hundred bucks back from Uncle Sam.
