Doesnt he have to with full disclosure?? If they dont warn within the next week, I think your first scenario may be correct (ie they will be very close to the 0.12 figure).

Then the question is if consensus estimates are already so much lower, there is no reason to warn since they will be making the numbers. <g>
I don't think there will be a full disclosure issue if he is sending messages in the media about business conditions, making analysts cut numbers.
Still confusing.

Good point on the PMCS comments. I also read another comment from analyst (I believe it was posted here yesterday) that their channel checks do not indicate increasing weakness and that would also be consistent with inventories being worked off this quarter.

Mucho mentioned that this is a $6 stock. I am not that pessimistic but I want to see a reason to buy it as an investment. It may not be a bad trade from current levels to the long side....but then the question keeps coming up; why not buy some other tech company that has better visibility
