Many that are positive will not tell partners unless they are asked It's impossible for me to comprehend people being so lacking in integrity as to put others at risk like that. It's equally impossible for me to comprehend taking a risk with someone you don't know well enough to be pretty sure he's trustworthy. Perhaps a lot of the people you reference are experiencing the perceived immortality of youth. Perhaps some of them want to live life as a Roman candle. The gay men I know are relatively conventional, I think. But it does not surprise me that the bathhouse culture still exists in pockets. Karen
