"Anyone expecting a big speed improvement from 0.13u may be disappointed."

I wonder if this isn't the real reason why AMD stopped making noises about 0.15 and 0.13 micron on their present equipment and decided that SOI and new equipment was the way to go? I suspect that even when trying to image 0.13 micron, they couldn't get a much smaller Leff than they are currently getting (90nm or so) and couldn't get a performance increase. Would have been nice to have greater production capacity, though.
