Ah, I see now. I think my perspective differences with several people here on this issue comes from the fact that I never had a vested interest in Cyrix. I am sure that the situation majorly sucked from a Cyrix investor perspective.

Hey, we're all human (well, almost all of us). And, as someone pointed out, young Watson has to content with his pride for his company. But, it is not all emotion -- there are the facts.

Whatever, IBM did, or didn't do, to Cyrix didn't really cause their death. The lack of a high frequency processor design was their downfall.
