I think that people forget that it takes time for things to unwind. In my primary business we didnt peak until 1990 way after the 87 crash. The real estate biz in NYC was good till 89, and didnt fall apart till 91 or so. There is a lot of residual money out there and it need to be spent. i suspect that the real crisis happens next year.
