Thread, I'm probably not one to lecture or give advice, so feel free to ignore me. But don't make any trades unless you can handle the potential loss -- both financially and emotionally. I've been there. I've learned lessons the hard way. I still don't like to lose, but I don't make bets I can't afford to lose, and I don't do anything that I can't handle in a detached manner. If you have doubts, paper trade. The market isn't going anywhere. There will be opportunities tomorrow and next week and next month. Whatever you decide, best of luck.
