To: Dealer who wrote (34737 ) 3/27/2001 2:47:41 PM From: im a survivor Read Replies (1) | Respond to I thought I saw newp earlier..not much, but up nonetheless.....and shes down over $6 now on no news....Hmmm...if this isnt the most skitso market ever, then I dont know what is........what I find amazing is how totally split the two camps are....we have a host of experts telling us we are foolish for not buying stock now and backing it up with hard data....we have another host of experts telling us why things are gonna get much worse and wont get better for awhile, and backing it up with hard data......nobody has any freakin clue as to what will happen or when, thats for damned sure.....best way to play this marlet in my opinion is LISTEN TO ED <ggg>...stick with beaten down quality, that is now fairly valued and has a bright future, then dont look for a few years.........I figure naz was at 5200 or so and now 1900ish....so we are closer to a bottom then a top....If I didnt short jdsu at $100, I aint gonna short it at $20..how much can I gain....not saying the shorts wont or cant make money now, cause they can and will if we keep going down, but the bulk of the short money has been made in the ride down...I mean....JDSU was like $140 wasn't it...now at $20...even if she is going to $5, your late to the party....so, I say NO MARGIN which means you will not be forced to sell if jdsu drops to $5, but also be select and start buying some beaten down quality that will be here and prosper ten years from now, if thats how long the bear decides to rear it's ugly head.....JMO...not saying we should be buying this market, but I am saying I would not be shorting at this point, and I would, and am buying, but being very cautious about it....hell....sunw can only fall another $17 before zero...jdsu another $20 before zero.....are they going to zero? I dont know, but I watched jdsu drop $20 in like a day oe two<ggg>....thats now the maximum amount it can fall...if I handled a drop from $140 to $20, I guess I can handle another drop to zero.......is that where folks really think we are going....everything to zero??...we may have further to fall, but I dont think jdsu or sunw or qcom or intc is going to zero...$5 maybe, at which time, I'll rent an eighteen wheeler, back it up....buy up every share of JDSU that I can at $5 and stash it away......sheez, what a crazy market.......I havent even looked to see what general nazzy is doing...last i looked she was up 40ish, then i saw a post that said some selling was coming, so I havent bothered to look at what is going on.....should I !!??!!
