Its all WRITE OFFS for their new HQ and layoff costs, the rest of their REVENUES are STILL SHOWING GROWTH, especially with CONSUMER CONIDENCE NUMBERS up. Of course, granted, the Nortel sell off today does not help PALM with its negative Management failing to see the VISIBILITY of the market recovery the rest of us canplainly see, with lower federal reserve interest rate cuts, lower taxes, tax cuts, this economy is in recovery and the CONSUMER CONFIDENCE NUMBERS show that. She isn't so ignorant, she is beautiful CNBC babe, and you can see the secret smile in her eyes the days "her stock" GE does wll for her pension plan at CNBC, she however has to get tougher with her Friday shows and dig into the financials with CEOs like Carl Yankowski at PALM and maybe expose this lazy CEO BLIND MICE ruse of lowering expectations just to easily beat them later for Job Security, this kind of sucker punch costs long investors, like me, money in the short term, although in the long term we do fine, its just poor management, and I wish they would expose it. But all journalists love tragic stories, murder, accidents, scandals, etc., good news just does not rock their day. I admit, they are part of the problem. My beef is not AMAT and VTSS so much as the way they always confuse AMCC with AMD by just saying "APPLIED MICRO" which they usually mean for Applied Micro Circuits Co, and not Applied Micro Devices. I am still suspicious about PALM's "bad" news which includes amazing GROWTH anyway, especially following over a month of Press Releases on new products, new deals, like DoCoMo, Canon, Kyocera Smartphones, EXTEND merger, and Carl Yakowski Mr. Y, doing his road shows with the new PALM V and VII and M105s etc. Very suspicious, SOMEONE IS BUYING those 45 to 50 million PALM shares, WHO IS IT? That more stock inventory than any market maker or even specialists will hold, WHO IS IT? I am, Truly your$, -Crystal Ball
