<<a point here, a point there...better then nothing...>>

Boy you got that right!!! Glad you made...making one dollar is better then losing a nickel in my book<ggg>

I am not much into Gilder at all......in fact, I laugh most of the time I read his crap, but who knows with this bluearc thing......are you familiar with the company? They are privately held, and supposedly these engineers are fixing to change the storage landscape....I was going to do a little patent research this week if I have the time....I am told by a pretty reliable source that they have been grabbing alot of patents to ensure they are well protected and nobody can copy their architecture without paying a fee......I really know nothing about BlueArc except what I have said here, which isnt much....but I must admitt, I was surprised as hell to find out my wifes boss was aware of bluearc and supposedly they are one of the companies that love it....heck, when I asked her, I was really wanting to get an opinion from engineers on the techno babble...I got that, but was not expecting in a million years that they knew of bluearc, or were supposedly beta testing overseas.....I never heard of bluearc until recently.......do you know anything about them? Do you understand the techno babble....cause I don't. I am curious as to what downsouth has to say....he/she, seems to have the techno babble part down pretty good.....anyway, for now, NTAP is off my buy list...the last thing I want to do is buy the company and then find out some new product is out that will revolutionize the sector....nope, give me something more boring to buy....I am tired of stocks that give you heart attacks every other day......looking hard at orcl, but want it cheaper........heck, maybe even some more atml if she hits the $9's again......so many stocks, so little money to buy <ggg>........Hey, if you had a measly $2k to spend, what would you buy....would you buy 100 shares or so of orcl or sunw, or maybe look for something like rhat, or gems that are cheaper and have potential.....I added $2k to my ira, but havent done anything with it, cause it's only $2k and frankly, I dont know what to do with it...gee, a whole hundred shares of orcl<ggg>...I mean, there is only so much I can do with the additional 2k I put in.....I dont want it sitting in cash, but am lost as to what to buy...it's like walking into a harley davidson shop with only $5k to spend....what the hell are you gonna buy in harley shop for $5k......well, what the hell do i do with this $2k my accountant made me<ggg> add to my IRA??

Thanks
