in fact, this is yet another example of a complete misrepresentation of what the cumulative a/d line is actually telling us. careful examination of its history reveals that its current location points to the ultimate target for the secular bear. look where the a/d line is NOW, and when it last was where it is now. then look at prices reigning back then ('87 top, Dow 2,700). that's where we should be going longer term.
