Kevin, I almost hate to disagree with you because you are obviously sincere. Nobody here, that I can tell, has stated that luck does not have SOME bearing on success. We just feel that it is a small effect, in general. Moreover, your emphasis on it would have a terribly negative effect. Additionally, a person can do absolutely nothing about pure luck, one way or another, so why focus on it? Better to work on whatever it is that you can control!
