There are also people with losses in their IRA's which they can't use to offset gains in taxable accounts...I know of two people in this situation.

clown is waaaaaaaaaay to nice a word for idiots that did this!

i worked for a company where options management told people they had to exercise their ipo options in order to get them. what idiots. many did. the stock is now down 90% from its ipo price and 99% from its high ;-)
