btw, is that your picture next to the word "cynic" in the dictionary. <vbg>

This led on to some most peculiar reading:

benbest.com

Cynicism was not a "school of philosophy", but rather an "erratic succession of individuals" which can be said to have begun with the philosopher Antisthenes.....But while property was regarded as an encumberance by Antisthenes, Diogenes was not above stealing, claiming "all things are the property of the wise".

Cleary, I don't fit the mold of the Diogenic cynic. I rail against the depredations of the "wise" Wall Street crowd engorging themselves on the soon spent surpluses of the sheep of Main Street. I must be some variant eccentric cynic. More in the John Bogle mold.

Good luck with your CSCO investment. At least that first tranche from '94 can well and truly be considered to be "seasoned" and way past the speculative stage. :)

Cheers!
