patron, i'm fine. i have savings/401k/ira that could take us through 3 years of no employment. of course, i drive to 1986 pos cars ;-) i wa rifed (reduction in force) last year. i took a job at a pre ipo company and was lied to by the owners. they didn't go ipo and they didn't give us shares as promised. they sold out and kept the proceeds. 95% stock deal for $200 million. the only upside is the stock is down 97% so the liars didn't make out as well as planned. -vbfg- what greedy sobs, ya know? my current company is a small cem (technology - hardware). their #1 problem is a lack of deep pockets. well, and the fact they missed a huge opportunity b/c they were a very unsavvy manufacturer (great at finance, though ;-). they are improving now, but it is probably too late. i really hope i'm wrong. hey, i've been around the block to know i'm a capitalistic whore. nuttin' new here.
