Remember the movie Clockwork Orange? I like to think of Mr. Market as being Alex, and the mania as the crimes he committed with his droogs. In this scheme of things, the crash was the "Ludovico technique" (the behavioral conditioning program where he is trained to get ill at any thought of or reference to violence). So of course, these earnings warnings serve as the spells of intense, Antabuse-like sickness that arose when he pondered doing "bits of extreme nastiness" and kept him on the straight and narrow after he was released into society....a 24 hour on call parole officer to keep Mr. Market in line, as it were... I don't know if its ART....but I like it....<G>
