Remember the movie "Other People's Money?" The speech given by Gregory Peck at the end when he talks about how strong his company will be when it comes out of the bad times is quite similar to Roth's comments in the press release. Peck lost his company. In addition, I was originally a Bay Networks shareholder. There was a CEO by the name of Ludwick (I believe that was the name). As part of an earnings warning, he made a statement that went like the following-
we are positioning ourselves to be competitive for the long-term. He was gone within 12 months.
