Jim: I've often wondered if the K7 pipe could/would be lengthened. I remember someone saying it wouldn't be.

As has been discussed on the thread earlier today (or was it tomorrow? well, probably yesterday in some time zone ;)) the Hammer series will almost certainly have a lengthened pipeline. Combjelly seems to be adamant that AMD has promised it.

It is doubtful that Palomino will have a longer pipeline, but Thoroughbred might.
