Matt, you know not of what you speak. Do your homework.

ELNK has insignificant amounts of debt.

Yes, DSL is growing very nicely - something #3 can't claim as they (MSN) no longer have ANY DSL.

Will they remain #2? Most likely as MSN's strong growth was driven entirely by the $400 rebates that are now kaput. They have also been actively buying subs, at what are likely fire sale prices, from cash poor (broke) smaller players.

Your comment about mgmt selling shares (any time soon) is wishful thinking on your part.

Lastly, serious longs aren't long on buyout rumors. We are long on strong and improving fundamentals, a strong balance sheet (no need to raise new capital to get to breakeven), good management, leadership position in their industry, the best access to cable systems (and other broadband) of anyone in the industry, etc. It just so happens that these same factors make ELNK attractive to potential acquirors.

Rumor or no rumor, I still say MSFT buys ELNK soon. MSFT's computer software business MUST be impacted by the boxmakers' spiral downward, and MSFT HAS to compete with AOL in this arena. ELNK is the only way to do this for MSFT. IMO, they have NO choice. Time will tell.

I remain,
