>so any thought on when msft will warn?

Probably right after the big funds mark their 30% MSFT rise over the last 4 days down for their quarterly statements, then dump their shares. After that, expect the warning.

Anyone who thinks that Intel and the entire PC industry can say the biz is in the crapper, yet microsoft, who provides their main revenue maker in the form of Windows in each and every single box, WONT warn, is crazy.

They have 3 more days to do it. I expect it very soon.

you mean re-warn. MSFT has however a big advantage over the rest of the PC industry...due to its monopolistic position in OS, it is not forced to lower prices when demand falters. every PC that IS sold, still needs Windows.
