I have been trading NE in greater and greater positions and frequency and it seems very easy to grab one or two points each way.

It's exactly what I've tried to do, but I use a number of OSX stocks. When you hit the right entry points, it's amazingly easy. Buying NBR Friday afternoon was an easy $2 Monday. I always use a fixed number of shares and haven't had enough confidence to trade larger blocks - got burned with large accumulations of PKD and KEG last year. SII is also a great trading stock because it runs such a range during a day, but the specialist is a killer on stops and flushing you out of your position.

All of these are filled with great advice:

Both psychology, money management and detailed TA info - Dr. Alexander Elder. Trading for a Living.
Psychology - Robert Koppel. The Intuitive Trader
Robert Koppel/Howard Abell. The Inner Game of Trading
Robert Koppel/Howard Abell. The Outer Game of Trading
Jack D. Schwager. The New Market Wizards
Richard McCall. The Way of the Warrior Trader

The top two are my favorites.
