I believe a better picture of cash flow is looking at the fiscal year since Amazon's business is so cyclical. Here is cash flow from operations for corresponding years. Clearly, Q4 98 was cash flow positive since the entire fiscal year was. Rember these numbers are from operations so Capex etc. is not included.
