Just had something like #4 happen with a friend who covered HOMS right after it's recent big run up (said he got scared it would never come back down!) He also hesitated for hours when I first told him to get in, letting 1 1/2 points get away from him. Although he didn't lose any money in the deal, he wound up with a mere pittance and has gone back to watching CNBC! We're still buddies but now the only "tip" I give him is to dollar cost average into the Vanguard S&P 500 Fund!!
