George, those magazine covers are not always good for exact timing, there were several bear mag covers during the bottoming period from august thru october 98, i disagree about the content of the articles, the bear covers give the message, but i think schaeffer is right about sentiment during the bear market must reach big extremes to cause a bear market rally, we did reach that on the 12-19th, now the bear market rally is over i think we are headed toward my nas target of the 98 lows. p/e ratios of tech stocks are still in the stratosphere and should be subject to a lot more compression in this tech recession. b
