Agreed, Jeff. I originally researched the AirPort system as an option for my PC, only to discover that it was a "Lucent Inside" product. So rather than getting involved with software that I didn't really understand, I waited a month or two for the introduction of the Orinoco RG-1000 Home Gateway. Another family member uses the AirPort as well. Both units perform flawlessly. Also, I believe that the Hyperlan2 (Euro systems) feature the superiour Firewire (IEE1394) interface. This is why it is so important to Bill Gates, that he gets the entire industry (on all continents) behind a blended standard. Only a fool would want the creation of another TDMA-GSM vs xCDMA war.
