Oh, I don't know. IMO/IMHO usually carries the same weight as BWDIK - a perfectly reasonable shorthand for the disclaimer "take everything I write with a large pinch of salt". (...I guess most of my opinions should have IMHO after them...).

There are, of course, those who regard their own opinions as objective truth...

IMHO In my honest opinion

I usually mean this, as I don't feel that there are too many "humble" people on this board (or any other for that manner). Kudos for Nigel as Brits are always polite (IMVHO), but Nigel, are Brits humble?
