Ally, that's a good question. Ahead of us we have poor 1Q reports and a 2Q that for most companies is probably worse than 1Q. Barring any other news I would expect these factors to deflate this rally... depending on how bad the news is we could see anywhere from a relatively minor retracement to new lows.

Against this we have *potential* good news... inventories being absorbed, product demand picking up, as well as more Fed rate cuts. These things will happen but no one knows when... if they are known at the same time as the 1Q results and the 2Q prognosis, then the market may look past the bad news and the share price may hold. I

I personally think that the near term will bring prices at least in the low 30's but TXN (along with AMAT and a few others) is one of those stocks that is perceived by big money as a place to be and will probably not be cheap for too long.

In short a tough time to be timing the market (isn't any?). If you believe in the LT future of this company, these may be good times to average in. Lacking a crystal ball one must substitute brass!

Looks like I'm going to miss taking advantage of this slide from the top to the bottom of the range. Got faked out, as the stock extended the range a bit higher than I expected. I'll go long, again, at 29-31, and sell at 36-37. The news from the telecom sector indicates fundamentals continue horrible, not even a hint of end-consumer demand bottoming yet.
