DirectPC and finally I get it installed this Friday!). Cable has stalled as has DSL. In rural areas satellite is the way to go and they finally have upload/download at the same rate (coming next month). yee haa. But how many will hop on this bandwagon, and how quickly?

I was supposed to get a Sprint Wireless Broadband connection installed this Friday.....unfortunately, after looking at my house, they told me they would need to install a 25ft tower to get a clean LOS to the Sears Tower. ARGHH!!!!

How much is DirectPC/month....what kind of speeds?

Are they going to let you have network in your house to allow sharing of the internet connections.

Also, what puts do you hold now?

As to the first question it is up to me, but when I had the house built I had cat5 wire strung all over the place. Supposedly I can share the connection between two PCs that are connected right now. (Or should I say were conected when I installed windows millenium my connection broke).

As for PUTs I feel like a complete moron for not having CHKP or JNPR.

XLNX MU VSTR MER FD AMAT (all doing very well to ok from where I bought them)
