Doug,

AMD has increased the clock speed of K7 by >100% since it's intro. They have added an L2 cache and switched from slot to socket. They have created market differentiation with Duron, and have had no significant bugs released.

I consider that to be nearly perfect execution. Compare vs. Intel.

If the primary determinant of how execution is defined is growth rate y/y or profit y/y, I doubt you'll find another company that comes close to executing as well as AMD over the past 12 months...You seem to be knit-picking within such a context!!!
