As in most things, I don't think we will get the "fight answer" in the first pass, and some sort of reform to reduce abuses was badly needed. That said, the law could have been better & have split responsibility better - 80% borrower 20% lender? The timing also plainly SUCKS! It would have been far better to push it through in 6-18 months than now as we are pushing liquidity into the market.

Notice how an insured lender can't fail? If a lender can't fail but the sheeple can - how long until we return to debtor's prisons?
