It is a mess Cynic. I think it started growth in the late 60's and is just coming to full fruition. Heck, you can see the repression in your campus vis a vis political correctness and blame laying. Was at my parents' wedding anniversary party and the young kids were looking at the mid 1940's yearbooks and noting how "old", I think mature would be a better word, the high school kids looked. Yeah, those "kids" were about to go to war in someplace they never heard of. And a fair chance to die. What we need is the family back in style. I doubt there are many other measures that are as influential as that. -ng-
