ECONOMIC EVENTS effects everywhere, but less effects on growth stocks like NTAP since STORAGE is a necessity. I do not take the position that NTAP will be unaffected, it does not exist in a vacuum, of course it will, but the story here is that during the downturn last year, NTAP hit its high of $152 just 6 months ago, and that indicates that it was not touched by MARKET EVENTS, and because THE MARKET predicts the ECONOMY 6 months ahead of time, it appears that the 2nd Greenspan Recession has been happening for the last several months (but lagging economic indicators will no show this for a month or so), but by all accounts, the lowering of taxes, and federal reserve interest rate cuts are ALREADY PUSHING THE ECONOMY INTO RECOVERY, at least by the next 2 or 3 quarters, and the market will respond and recover 6 months ahead of this curve. LOOK AT THE CHART FOR NTAP, from $152 to now, that is the Recession, being over with 6 months from now, so, that graph, V or U shaped in recovery will be NTAP's graph some 6 months to 9 months from now in REVERSE, back UP toward its highs, in REVERSE OF THE CURRENT GRAPH, either V, but most certainly U in shape, not L shaped like the doom and gloomers think, and not W like the comedians at Clinton HQ would like to poke fun of and prod and trip up and delay, like they are in the US Senate. This will all recover, and I beleive well ahead of the elections in 2002, Bush will not let the economy steal away his congressional support. O'Neal at Treasury will take out a bigger CLUB than Greenspan has, TWO CAN PLAY MONETARY POLICY, if he trys to delay FISCAL POLICY control. Hit him hard is all I say, and if he gets up, hit him again. They know Deficit Spending and TREASURIES are a much BIGGER CLUB than the Federal Reserve, but hopefully it won't come to that, but if so, it is PREFERRED.
In the meantime, and these are MEAN times, corporate America will plod on and upwards again, and NTAP will be among the leader UP UP and AWAY.
I am,
Truly your$,
