Additional dollars spent for energy will not add any value. It's all a net outflow. These costs will be batted about between businesses ultimately to be paid by the consumer (who will have fewer $) for "discrectionary" spending.

Congress, looking at 2002 elections, will pass tax cuts (when was the last time you heard "risky tax scheme"?) The Fed, fearing defaults/BK's will cut rates & continue to pump money into economy. More money chasing the same goods is inflation.

Summer rally on hopes that tax cuts and Fed action will work, followed by down leg when AG finds his nuts in a stagflated wringer.

The bottom will be when no one wants to talk about stocks anymore.

I think Shadow and I are in parallel on this. I've not talked to Reid lately.

I'm trying to follow energy winners and losers, maintain my business in the face of tough business conditions, and raise cash for MOABO.

Are you going this year???
