I agree. The gross imbalance they provided with respect to bull/bear opinion was simply obscene.

I always thought journalists were supposed to have enquiring minds and possess an ability to do some homework or at least ask probing questions. Little of this was in evidence until the markets began to crater....... a bit late, and a bit suspicious as well. Closing the barn doors after the cows have wandered on to the freeway, comes to mind. As far as I am concerned, they had a remarkable opportunity to inject some perspective into the consciousness of N. American investors as the mania ran rampant. They didn't come within a country mile of so doing.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. They are all "hired hands" and the lay-offs infiltrating America will also visit their "show". The popularity of endless bullish hype will continue to wane as the markets take more gunshot wounds. Most of them will be out on the street trying to find jobs as disk jockeys before long.
