It lies with the fact that it will be facing major pricing pressures on the high end from notable competitors like JNPR as telcos reduce capital expenditures. It also lies in the fact that the company's accounting practices are suspect to say the least."

Did some research, Cisco's gear is in the same price range
as Juniper.

The problem is that carriers are not buying. This is a
BIG issue for single product companies like Juniper. For
Cisco, enterprise sale is still going very good, so the
slowdown in carrier spending will hurt Cisco but NOT as
bad as it will hurt companies like Juniper, RedBack etc...

DUDE!...what happened to predictions of doom and gloom when Nadaq hit 1600??!!...WOW!!...if anyone had listened to your rhetoric, we'd all be in the poorhouse...you my friend, are perhaps the best contrarian indicator I have EVER witnessed...if Puffy says sell, buy like a madman, if he's buying, better be selling!...can anyone believe that this guy has anything to do with a hedge fund?
