Hi John, RE: "what is the average speed of a processor out there"

It's not so much what the average speed of the processor is out there today, but rather, what will the processor need to be to handle integration and connectivity.

Integrated XML connectivity is going to be a pig without a fast processor.

Regards,
Amy J

John, <<<PS I've currently got four windows of IE running, as I tried to write this note the first time, guess what, the PC crashed>>>

I could be wrong, but I don't think you have four windows "running". You may have four windows open.

For me, to have four windows running, it would have to be something like this:

One window receiving a download of a huge file, another window solving a complex mathematical formula, and another displaying streaming video. In the window where you are writing, nothing is going on - I mean wrt the computer <ggg>.
