A few miles from here they built a chicken rendering plant. They take dead and dying chickens and shoot them at 100 mph into a big fan by the semi-truck load. The dried chicken mulch is then packaged and fed to chickens. The smell of that would turn anybody off chicken for life. If you ever contemplated becoming a vegetarian all you would need to do is visit one rendering plant or chicken barn. We shut them done by threatening to sue the Reeve personally for letting his friends set up the plant and by-passing the consultation process that is now needed for all commercial ag operations. dow.com I can't find that advisory on Scotch-Guard but it appears Dow thinks they can improve on nature. A search of their site turned up nothing. I did find this interesting site in my search dna.com
